SHIP2 — A field name used in fulfillment and logistics systems referring to the secondary shipping address, or the destination a package is being shipped to. In GDT’s kitting workflow, SHIP2 refers to the lab’s return address that is printed on the prepaid return label included inside the kit. The patient uses this label to ship their completed specimen directly to the lab.
