SHIP1 — A field name used in fulfillment and logistics systems referring to the primary shipping address, or the destination a kit is being shipped to initially. In GDT’s kitting workflow, SHIP1 refers to the patient’s or provider’s address where the test kit is sent first — before the patient collects their sample and returns it to the lab using the prepaid return label (SHIP2).
