Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) — A cyberattack where a flood of traffic from many sources is sent to a server or website with the goal of overwhelming it and taking it offline. The “distributed” part means the attack comes from many different machines at once, making it harder to block. Cloudflare and AWS WAF are two of the main defenses GDT has against DDoS attacks.
